The Headmaster invites alumni to join the whole company of the school at a special service of Evensong at St Paul’s Cathedral. This occasion brings to a close the year of celebrations for our 140th School Birthday. Joint choirs of the two Francis Holland Schools, Regent’s Park and Sloane Square, will sing a specially-commissioned setting to music of our shared motto.  The Evensong will be followed by a reception at Stationers’ Hall, immediately afterwards. Prefects will guide you across the Churchyard to the reception. Alumni are invited to express interest in attending our spring Careers Evening taking place on 5th February 2019 (timings to be confirmed). This event will be for those who work within a given industry (to be confirmed) to provide insights and advice to current FHS girls interested in specific disciplines. It will also be a wonderful opportunity for alumni to network and even source potential new opportunities for their own careers. We will join forces with Senior Chamber Choir to sing Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs in a concert in St Cyprian’s Church on Thursday 14th February 2019 at 7pm. This concert will also feature a pupil-led production of Vaughan Williams’ opera Riders To The Sea. There will be three rehearsals in the lead up to the concert on the three previous Thursday evenings (24th January, 31st January and 7th February) up in the music department which will run from 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
