Countess of Dundee, former FHS pupil, dies aged 63

FHS alumna The Countess of Dundee has passed away aged 63.

Known at FHS as Siobhan Llewellyn, whose sister Rebecca also attended the school, the designer married Lord Dundee and resided at the family home of Birkhill, near Cupar in Scotland, which she renovated and restored to its former glory. Siobhan started at FHS aged 5 years old and was educated at the school until around 1969 before enrolling at the Inchbald School of Design in London.

The Countess was a passionate supporter of the arts, most notably Dundee Contemporary Arts, and also hosted charity events at Birkhill. She died in March of this year aged 69, and is survived by her husband and four children.
