Evensong at St Paul's Cathedral

On Monday 4th February, we rounded off our 140th Birthday celebrations with Choral Evensong at St Paul's Cathedral followed by an evening at Stationers' Hall.

Not even the dreary weather could dampen our spirits on such a momentous occasion. Students, parents, alumni, staff, governors and friends of Francis Holland School came together for a special service of Evensong at St Paul's Cathedral. The occasion brought to a close the year of celebrations for our 140th School Birthday. Taking place in such an iconic and well-renowned location, our choral evensong was an opportunity for our school community to take a moment to reconnect with their spiritual lives and reflect upon our relationship with God.

Joint choirs of the two Francis Holland Schools, Regent's Park and Sloane Square, sang a specially-commissioned setting to music of our shared motto.

Following the service, a reception was held at Stationers' Hall, during which the Francis Holland School community shared their own stories and memories. Our Headmaster gave a spirited speech to guests, highlighting the Annual Fund initiative which will help support the School for the next 140 years and beyond.
