Careers Evening
On Wednesday 7th November FHS Regent's Park hosted their Careers Evening, with guest professionals drawn from our parent body, alumni and the friends and family of our teachers. Some kindly gave special talks on their professions while all offered their time, insider knowledge and informal consultations. A broad range of careers was represented, from Business Owners and Pilots to Freelance Broadcast Journalists and Development Engineers. The aim was to encourage bigger-picture thinking for primarily girls in the Upper Fifth and the Sixth Form and ensure that sensible A level and degree choices are made in order to keep doors to future careers open. The girls certainly had their minds opened to careers they may have never even heard of or dreamed of pursuing. We are hugely grateful to all our guests for their time and expertise.
