Alumna Zoe Whishaw (Class of 1983) kindly sent in some photos of her with fellow alumna Edith Heard, also Class of 1983. Zoe works as a Commercial Photographer, Consultant and Mentor, and Edith is Director General of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Paris. The photo below shows Edith and Zoe, photographed on the occasion of Edith being made an FRS (Fellow of the Royal Society) in 2013 - a proud moment; Edith is one of very few women recognised for her accomplishment in Science by such an esteemed body.
