Quondam's Remote Reunion 2025

Susanne Nedas, Chairman of Quondam, writes:

"On Saturday, 18th January, Quondam hosted its 4th remote reunion. There were 17 of us from around the world – from the UK, from Ireland, from Canada, from Switzerland, Australia and Canada.  Our leaving dates ranged from 1963 – 2010.

We all agreed that we were part of the Francis Holland Family!  It didn’t matter whether we were at school at the same time or not – we came from the same tree and there was lots to talk about – as always.  Do join next year!  Click here if you want to be personally notified of the date."

Here are some quotes from the attendees:

“Thank you so much for organising this! Such a pleasure to hear all the wonderful things that Polished Corners are doing and to share memories!”

“Thank you so much for hosting yet another successful Zoom Reunion.  I really do enjoy seeing my FHS Zoom buddies, none of which were in my year.”

“Another triumph yesterday. I feel as the years go by that we’re getting to know a little bit more about Katharine and what she’s doing for the school; it makes me feel more involved and on the whole that’s difficult for me these days. I can’t thank you enough for all you do for the school and for Quondam”

“Time seemed to fly by as we reminisced. I am so pleased Mrs. Woodcock was able to join us and update us on what is happening at FHS and also to meet Dina the Alumni Relations Officer.”

“Thank you - I really enjoyed the call - so wonderful to hear everyone talk about their time.”

“I really did enjoy the remote reunion - as you say, such a happy relaxed atmosphere.”

“Thanks again for organising the reunion. It was really enjoyable, I am only sorry I missed the first 40 mins!”

“What fun it was to recall so many good and interesting times at FHS. I hope we didn't shock the new Headmistress with our stories!😊”

“It was a lovely two hours of chatting and listening.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday virtual meeting - thank you!”

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming Quondam events in 2025.
