Former Teacher of History, Clare Garvin, née MacLeod, passes away peacefully

At the age of 92, former FHS Teacher of History from 1954-1961, Clare Garvin, née MacLeod, died peacefully on 27th December. Surrounded by her family, Clare was able to spend her final Christmas opening stockings with her family and watching the Queen's speech, before retiring to bed. Her family hope to celebrate her life properly in the summer months. A private cremation was held on 6th January.
