Announcing the passing of Marion Harvey née Dreyfuss, Class of 1974

We announce, with great sadness, the passing of Marion Harvey, née Dreyfuss, aged 66 years on 23rd September 2023. Marion was a pupil at FHS from the age of 4 to 17, leaving following her A Levels in 1974 to train at the London School of Pharmacy. She went on to do a PhD, including antibiotic research, and worked as a pharmacist throughout her working life, in the last twenty years at her own pharmacy, Keats in Hampstead. Marion was a brilliant scientist, linguist and all-round student, conscientious, diligent and meticulous in everything she undertook. She leaves her husband David, her daughters, Katie, Ollie and Nikki, sons and daughter-in-law, Yuval, Daniel and Anne, and five delightful grandchildren. She is greatly missed by her two great friends, Vivien Rose (née Lind) and Alexandra Wright.

Many thanks to Rabbi Alexandra Wright, née Levitt, for informing Quondam of Marion's passing and her thoughtful words.
