Members of the current Sixth Form and alumnae aged 25 and below are eligible to apply for the Quondam Travel Scholarship. You can only be awarded the scholarship once.

The scholarship aims to help those who are in education or in unpaid or poorly paid employment, who wish to broaden their education and experience by travelling abroad.

The scholarship is now £1000. Preference is given to applications involving elements of education or service to others.

Send entries to quondam@fhs-nw1.org.uk with the subject line ʻQuondam Travel Scholarship Entryʼ.  An acknowledgement on receipt of the entry will be sent to the applicant by email.

Please note the deadline by which all entries must be received is Friday 19th April 2019.

Quondam regrets that they will not be able to consider applications submitted after this date.

Successful applicants will be required to present a full report of their time abroad when they return.  A maximum of 600 words with some illustrative photographs is to be emailed to The Polished Corners Magazine Editor, for publication.

The winner will be expected to give a talk during a Sixth Form lecture or whole school assembly to demonstrate the use of the award and encourage girls to enter.
