FHS for NHS!

FHS was delighted to be able to donate supplies to the Chemistry Department at UCL last week to help with the fight against COVID-19

As we all know, hand sanitiser is in great demand at the moment. In response to a request from UCH hospital, the Chemistry Department at UCL have put in place a handwash 'factory' to manufacture such gel!

David Charap, father of Jazzy in Upper Fifth, contacted the school to ask if we had any of the chemicals needed for the production, and we were delighted to be able to supply them, together with several boxes of disposable gloves. A number of other schools and laboratories in the area have also donated supplies, meaning a significant amount of sanitiser gel can now be produced. A huge thank you to Head of Chemistry, Mr Tiley for coordinating these efforts.
