From yesterday's Remembrance Service to October's Black History Month activities, the school has had a busy and incredibly lively Autumn Term so far, inspite of our second lockdown! Here are just some of our news stories:

Remembrance Service 2020 - On Wednesday 11th November, the School gathered for its annual Remembrance Service. In a unique ceremony this year, we came together around the School building to remember those who gave their lives in service for their country.

Black History Month - To mark Black History Month (which started on 1st October), Assistant Head (Teaching & Learning), Ms Lewis gave an assembly on the Windrush generation and scandal. The assembly focused on Paulette Wilson, one of the many black Britons who had their lives devastated by Britain’s immigration system in 2016. We also held a BHM Book Club with actor Keziah Joseph and a Sixth Form Lecture with Detective Inspector Ahenkora Bediako.
