On Thursday 26 June, we came together to celebrate our incredible Class of 2025 - a joyful and emotional evening that marked the end of their journey at FHRP and the beginning of bright new chapters ahead.

The event opened with an inspiring address from our Head, Mrs Woodcock, who commended the girls for the energy, kindness, and leadership they’ve brought to the school. Tom Robertson, Director of Development, then extended a warm welcome to the newest members of our cherished alumnae community on behalf of Susanne Nedas, Chair of Quondam, sharing the motto that binds generations of FHRP students together: “Once a Polished Corner, always a Polished Corner.” Acting Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Williams, also spoke, expressing her heartfelt thanks to the year group for their spirit and camaraderie during her second year in the role.

We were then treated to a moving speech from this year’s Head Girl, My-Anh, who spoke with gratitude and affection about her time at FHRP, reflecting on the friendships, lessons, and memories that have shaped her and her classmates’ time at school.

The evening continued with the awarding of our Upper Sixth prizes, celebrating not just academic excellence, but also commitment to co-curricular life and the wider FHRP community. Afterwards, guests gathered in the playground for a relaxed and lively drinks reception, followed by a highly anticipated disco in the Hall.

It was a wonderful send-off for a very special year group. While we’re sad to see them go, we’re excited to see where their paths will lead - and we know this isn’t goodbye, but “see you soon.” The Francis Holland family will always be here to welcome them back!
