Led by our wonderful Director of Music, Ms Murphy, the service consisted of an amazing variety of music from our Junior and Senior Choirs and Chamber Choirs, our Senior Strings and, last but not least, our lovely Thirds as vocal accompaniments to different performances. Festive musical pieces included The Holly & The Ivy, Muusika, O Viridissima, Christmas Concerto, The Little Babe, The Lamb and many more, all of which were performed to a magnificently high standard.
Our audience also joined in with some classic and universally loved Christmas hymns including Once in Royal David’s City, Hark the Herald Angels Sing and O Come, All Ye Faithful.
We were also treated to festive readings from representatives of all year groups, the vicar, our Headmaster and Head Girl.
Thank you so much for all who attended and made last night such a lovely event to conclude Autumn Term, and wishing our entire FHS Community a happy, safe and restful Christmas break.
