On Thursday, our school community gathered in St Cyprian’s Church for an early evening concert to celebrate the musical talents of our Upper Sixth leavers. In an affectionate nod to the upcoming coronation of King Charles III, the concert commenced with Elgar’s rousing ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ performed by the Senior Orchestra. Throughout the concert, our Year 13 leavers (Amelia N, Sophera W and Olivia A) took to the stage for a solo performance in their chosen musical field, with each receiving rapturous applause as they took to the FHS stage for the final time. The concert also saw outstanding performances from our Junior Choir, Junior Chamber Choir, and Senior Choir, as well as piano pieces from Eloise M, Daisy Q and Fiona J.
We would like to wish all of our Upper Sixth leavers every success in their summer exams and we look forward to welcoming them back to FHS as alumnae in the future.
