The whole school gathered in the Ivor Place Hall to celebrate this truly golden year group, and enjoyed nostalgic anecdotes from the UVI’s seven years at FHS, an adorable photo montage of baby photos of each girl in the year, an extremely creative video made by the Sixth Formers (with a number of legendary staff cameos!) to commemorate their time at the School and a hilarious impersonation of former headmaster Mr Fillingham by Amber in the UVI!
Headmistress Mrs Woodcock gave a lovely speech, describing the pleasure she has had getting to know the UVI during her first year at FHS and wishing them the very best of luck in their future adventures. We were also treated to a speech from Head Girl Saskia which was both witty and poignant and moved many of the audience to tears, before she ceremonially handed over her Head Girl badge to our Head Girl for 2023-24, Isabel.
Thank you so much to all involved in creating such a memorable, meaningful and entertaining assembly. We wish the UVI the best of luck in their exams and their future endeavours, and look forward to welcoming them back as members of our alumni community, Quondam, in years to come.
