Much Ado About Nothing

Last week saw two FHS casts take to the stage for four exceptional performances of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’

Following months of meticulous rehearsals, line-learning and character building, this week saw our two casts take to the stage for four exceptional performances of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’. Set in 16th century Messina, ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ remains one of Shakespeare’s most revered romantic comedies centring around several pairs of lovers – some of whom pretend to hate each other initially, but luckily it all ends in happy wedlock!

On Monday the set arrived, and on Wednesday the cast put on an amazing performance for elderly members of the Mosaic Club (with whom we have enjoyed a long partnership), followed by the first official performance on Wednesday evening. Every single performance was a tribute to the hard work and dedication of the students and Drama Department, with each night concluding with rapturous applause. Huge congratulations to all involved and thank you to all who joined us as an audience this week to celebrate the theatrical talent we have at FHS.
