These concerts are open to members of the local community, as well as our current pupils and staff. As a cherished part of our school's history, we would be honoured to have FHS alumni in attendance

On Thursday 25 January, we were delighted to launch our inaugural Lunchtime Concert Series at St Cyprian’s Church. This is a brand new series to give our young musicians more opportunities to showcase their musical talents and practice performing in front of invited audiences. For Thursday’s concert, the programme was student-led, with each music scholar performing pieces of their choosing. Students performed a selection of piano, woodwind, vocal and strings pieces, which ranged from baroque sonatas to 20th century jazz standards.

Huge thank you to all who attended our first lunchtime recital. We look forward to the next concert on Monday 19th February, during which our students will perform a selection of strings and ensemble pieces.
